Snapshots of the Past Historic Posters L sku-13276702426

This Black, size L poster from Snapshots of the Past reproduces the historic print "Demands Tariff Board be purged of politics" by Underwood & Underwood, Inc., Washington, D.C. It measures 16" x 20" and is listed under SKU sku-13276702426 and UPC 469565128459. The company, founded in 2001, restores Library of Congress images as reproduction prints using archival paper and pigmented inks.

It says it was the first company to offer these images as fine-art reproductions, has sold through over 200 bookstores and other retailers as well as to Internet customers, and was selected as a vendor for a White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography was invented in 1796.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; it laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections on American cultural history. The collection includes historical maps, photographs, holiday posters, and early aerial views of cities.
