The company reproduces historical maps, photos, and prints from Library of Congress archives on fine-art and archival paper, using pigmented inks for prints intended to last for generations.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproductions. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass-produced prints possible.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; it laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections about American cultural heritage. The company's range includes old Halloween, Mother's Day, and Valentine's Day posters, as well as early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago, and San Francisco.

Its retro-style prints can be displayed at home or at work or given as gifts.
