Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. The company's reproductions of historical maps, photos and prints are restored from Library of Congress archives.

They use fine-art and archival paper and pigmented inks, intended to last a lifetime and be passed down. Lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass production of prints possible. In 1989, the Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project, which laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program launched in 1995.

That program digitizes selected collections documenting the complexity of American cultural heritage. The company's range also includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco. Its retro-style prints can be displayed at home, in a study or at work, or given as gifts.
