Snapshots of the Past Wall Art, SKU sku-13282806780, is a Black, size L reproduction of a children's room print from the Pratt Institute Free Library in Brooklyn. The print measures 16 x 20. UPC: 463852437927. The company, founded in 2001, was the first to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Its catalog includes historical maps, photographs and prints restored from Library of Congress archives. Lithography was invented in 1796, making inexpensive mass production of prints possible.

In 1989, the Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project, which laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program launched in 1995. That program digitizes selected collections documenting American cultural heritage.

Reproduction prints use fine-art and archival papers; prints made with archival paper and pigmented inks can be enjoyed for a lifetime and passed down through generations. The collection includes holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.
