Snapshots of the Past Wall Art L Print sku-13297762551

This Snapshots of the Past Wall Art print shows Bobby Shelton seated on a horse beside Inez Flores at King Ranch in Kingsville, Texas. It measures 16" x 20" and is listed as Black, size L, sku-13297762551, UPC 468948068795. Snapshots of the Past reproduces historical maps, photographs and prints from Library of Congress archives on fine-art and archival papers, using pigmented inks.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its customers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, as well as tens of thousands of online buyers. The company was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass-produced prints possible.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; that project laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections on American cultural history. The brand also offers older holiday posters and aerial city views as prints for homes, studies, workplaces or gifts.
