Snapshots of the Past Wall Art L Print sku-13240854468

This Snapshots of the Past print depicts Annie Peck and two guides on a boat deck. The Black, size L Wall Art listing is sku-13240854468, UPC 468062211329, and the print measures 16" x 20". The company, founded in 2001, says it was the first to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints.

It lists more than 200 bookstores and other retailers, tens of thousands of online customers, and selection as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Its reproductions include historical maps, photographs and prints restored from Library of Congress archives. The listing describes lithography as a mass-production printing technique invented in 1796.

It also notes that the Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989 and its National Digital Library Program in 1995 to digitize selected collections of American cultural history. The prints use archival paper and pigmented inks. The listing suggests historical posters, including holiday images and early aerial city views, for display or as gifts.
