The company offers reproductions of historical maps, photos and prints restored from Library of Congress archives.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008.

The company's background notes that lithography was invented in 1796 and helped make inexpensive, mass-produced poster prints possible. In 1989, the Library of Congress American Memory pilot project laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerned with the complexity of American cultural heritage.

The print uses fine-art archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations. The company's range also includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco, offered as decor or gifts for homes, studies and workplaces.
