Snapshots of the Past Wall Art, sku-13261355134, is a Black, size L reproduction print titled ABNER BENYON (Capt. E.B. Watts) in a hurricane, April 16, 1881. It measures 16 by 20 inches; UPC 465130315231. The company restores historical maps, photographs, and prints from Library of Congress archives and uses archival paper and pigmented inks.

Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the 2008 White House redecoration project. Lithography, invented in 1796, enabled inexpensive mass production of prints.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989; the National Digital Library Program followed in 1995 to digitize selected collections of American cultural history. The company's retro prints include holiday posters and early aerial views of major cities for display or gifts.
