Snapshots of the Past Wall Art print in Black, size L, SKU sku-13291410806, UPC 467963881013. The 16" x 20" historic print depicts a group of Feyziye school students in Tophane; its title credits Abdullah Frères as photographers in Constantinople. The company reproduces historical maps, photographs and prints from Library of Congress archives using archival paper and pigmented inks.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first to offer these images as fine-art reproduction prints, has sold through over 200 bookstores and other retailers and to tens of thousands of online customers, and was selected as a vendor for the 2008 White House redecoration project. Lithography was invented in 1796.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989, laying the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 to digitize selected collections on American cultural history. The archival materials are intended to let prints last for generations. The range also includes holiday posters and early aerial city views for display at home or work or as gifts.
