This Snapshots of the Past Black Wall Art print, size L, depicts 250 Government Street (Ironwork) in Mobile, Mobile County, AL. It measures 16 x 20 inches and is listed as sku-13273100466, UPC 464556214104. The company reproduces historical maps, photos and prints restored from Library of Congress archives on archival paper with pigmented inks.

Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers and tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the 2008 White House redecoration project. Lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass production of prints possible.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989; it laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerned with American cultural heritage.

The company's range also includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco, intended for display at home, in a study or at work, or as gifts.
