Snapshots of the Past offers this Black, size L Wall Art print titled “100 contemporary prints at the Jewish museum. Pratt Graphic Art center,” sized 16" x 20". The company reproduces historical maps, photos and prints restored from Library of Congress archives, using archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations.

Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008. Lithography, a method that enabled inexpensive mass-produced posters, was invented in 1796.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989; it laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections on American cultural heritage. The company's reproductions also include old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.
