The company reproduces historical maps, photographs and prints restored from Library of Congress archives, using archival paper and pigmented inks. Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, as well as tens of thousands of online customers.

It was selected as a vendor for a White House redecoration project in 2008. The listing also notes that lithography was invented in 1796; a Library of Congress pilot project called American Memory began in 1989 and laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 to digitize selected collections on American cultural history.

The company's range includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters, early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco, and other retro-style prints for home or workplace display and gifts.
