Founded in 2001, it reports sales through over 200 bookstores and other retailers, as well as tens of thousands of online customers.

It was selected as a vendor for the 2008 White House redecoration project. Lithography was invented in 1796; the Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989, laying the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 to digitize selected collections on American cultural history.

The range also includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco. The prints are intended for display at home or work and as gifts.
