This Black, size L framed print by Snapshots of the Past (sku-5274408600; UPC 464937411207) is listed under Wall Art. Its title identifies National Union Republican candidates, a lithograph by Kellogg & Bulkeley of Hartford, Conn., measuring 17-7/8 x 21-7/8 in.

The company reproduces historical maps, photographs and prints from Library of Congress archives using fine-art and archival paper with pigmented inks. Founded in 2001, it says it was the first to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality reproduction prints.

Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers; it was selected as a vendor for the 2008 White House redecoration project. The description also notes that lithography was invented in 1796, that the Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989, and that the National Digital Library Program began in 1995 to digitize selected collections concerning American cultural history.

It suggests retro posters, including holiday posters and early aerial city views, for homes, studies, workplaces or gifts.
