Snapshots of the Past Black Wall Art L sku-5279809410

Snapshots of the Past Black Wall Art, size L, is a historic framed reproduction print showing Mabel Van Dyke Bell, E.B. Morrow and A.B. Patrick. Its listed dimensions are 17-7/8" x 21-7/8". The company reproduces historical maps, photographs and prints from Library of Congress archives using archival paper and pigmented inks.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproductions. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the 2008 White House redecoration project. Lithography, an inexpensive mass-printing technique, was invented in 1796.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989; that project laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural heritage.

The company's range also includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco, intended for display at home or work or as gifts. SKU sku-5279809410; UPC 463248212176.
