Snapshots of the Past Black L Wall Art | sku-5289750360

This Snapshots of the Past Wall Art is a Black, size L framed reproduction print showing Howard Thurston performing a magic trick with a man who looks like him and two young women. It measures 17-7/8" x 21-7/8" and is reproduced from Library of Congress archives. The company, founded in 2001, says it was the first to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography was invented in 1796, enabling inexpensive mass production of prints.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989; it laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections on American cultural history. The company uses archival paper and pigmented inks for prints intended to last for generations. SKU: sku-5289750360. UPC: 466509992862.
