The HP-60 has an outdoor UL rating and operates quietly, without oil. It is described as energy efficient and suitable for ponds up to 1/4 acre at depths of 10' or less.
Aeration circulates water and distributes oxygen and water temperature for fish; it also helps keep pond water clean and clear. The pump can be rebuilt 2 times, and a rebuild tutorial is on HIBLOW's support page. A 5/8" ID 90 degree L-tube hose connector with a clamp is included; the 5/8" OD barb fitting is not. For distances of 50-100', use 1/2" ID aeration tubing; for 100'+, use 3/4" ID tubing.
