No rating yet(0 ratings)DeathWaltz model 135, UPC 810140240347, SKU sku-13659609368, is a Soundtracks: Vinyl Records release of John Carpenter's Halloween film score on candy corn vinyl. Issued for the film's 40th anniversary, it contains music Carpenter composed and performed in 1978, using the film's original mono music stem derived from its 35mm tracks.
The film's dialogue, sound effects, and music tracks together make up its complete soundtrack. The first Halloween LP, released in 1982, was Alan Howarth's remix of the original 16 master, made under Carpenter's instructions to favor the music's sound over matching the film mix. For this release, Howarth transferred the film music stem and assembled the music in the order heard in the film.
