HABA Clever Up! 3.0 Multicolor Blocks sku-756553037

HABA Clever Up! 3.0 is a Multicolor, Unisex Building Blocks set, sku-756553037. Made in Germany from sustainably sourced, PEFC-certified beech and birch, its wooden pieces have smooth, sanded edges and are intended for lasting, open-ended play.

The building system starts with a cube that is doubled into a large rectangular block, halved into a small rectangular block and halved again into a square rod. Designed for children from 12 months through age 8, the set has 108 pieces: 30 cubes, 18 rectangular blocks, 24 rods, 12 baseplates in three lengths and 24 strips in four lengths. The standard cube measures 1.75" x 1.75" x 1.75".

A cotton storage bag and a 40-page guidebook with construction ideas are included. Building projects can increase in difficulty as children explore spatial and logical thinking, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, geometry, early calculation, gravity, balance and leverage. Clever Up! systems are compatible and interchangeable, so other sets can be added.

The set is also presented as a gift for ages 1 through 8. To clean the blocks, use a cloth dampened with warm water and, if needed, a little dish soap or vinegar essence mixed with water. Do not submerge them, put them in a dishwasher or use disinfectants, including organic baby wipes; these can damage the water-based coatings over the stains and paints.
