Gold Tone OM-800+ Natural Octave Mandolins sku-51355232
No rating yet(0 ratings)Gold Tone OM-800+ Mandolins, sku-51355232, UPC 875116001834, is a Multicolor, Unisex octave mandolin in Natural size. It is tuned one octave below a standard mandolin; octave mandolins have become a popular alternative for mandolinists. Redesigned for 2011, the OM-800+ has a longer 22-1/2" scale commonly used by private makers in Ireland.
Its arched top adds structural strength, while the compound-radiused fingerboard is preferred by many players for fast passages. Gold Tone's luthiers set it up for low action without buzz, a complicated task on an octave mandolin. A hardshell case is included.
