The GENEMA X1008 is a PCIe to dual HDD/SSD expansion board built for RPi5, adding large-capacity and high-speed storage to your setup. It accepts 1x3.5inch HDD and 2.5inch HDD/SSD, enabling the RPi5 to fully utilise expanded storage options. The board uses a PCIe 3.0 interface with transfer speeds up to 5Gbps for fast data access. Power is supplied via a single DC12V power adapter connected to the DC5521Jack; this arrangement powers both the X1008 and the RPi5, so no separate power source for the RPi5 is required. Please note that a 3.5inch HDD requires 12V. By consolidating power into one DC12V adapter, the X1008 simplifies installation and eliminates the need for multiple power supplies.
