Gelocast, the original Unna's boot, is impregnated with zinc oxide and calamine to soothe irritated skin. The nonraveling gauze is uniformly coated so it is easy to handle and mold to the limb providing a semi-rigid cast; cast immobilizes strains and sprains. 100% cotton base does not unravel reducing wastage. Each bandage is sealed in an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) bag to prolong shelf life.
