Garmin GMR Fantom 18x Radar Black 50 Watt 18" Dome with 15m Cables 010-02584-10

Garmin GMR Fantom™ 18x, Black Model: 010-02584-10 GMR Fantom brings the power. Fifty watts of it, actually. See targets clearly, and adjust their sizes as needed. With power save mode, you get to choose when to use full power and when to pull back. Every second of power usage counts. Cut back even more by choosing your active times down to the second.

MotionScope™ technology shows targets in color as they move toward you or away. Tailor your 50-watt solid-state dome radar to your boat with a white or black option — both with a range from 20’ to 48 nautical miles, even in fog or rain, and up to 60 RPM rotation speed for a refresh rate that can detect movement at any speed.

High-resolution images and high antenna gain help to pick out targets at a distance, while 8-bit true color imagery enhances target separation. MotionScope uses the Doppler effect to detect moving targets and highlight them in different colors, so you can navigate around other boats or severe weather — or toward fishing spots where birds feed at the surface.

The power save feature lets you choose when you need more power or less, so you have power when you need it and conserve it when you don’t. Boaters and sailors can specify transmit times down to the seconds instead of minutes, allowing for reduced power consumption. These radars don’t have any complex user settings to deal with, so they’re easy to install and start using.

Adjust on-screen target resolution for better separation based on your surroundings. Adjust on-screen target resolution for better separation based on your surroundings. See a historical "trail" on the screen to help you quickly and easily identify moving targets and potential collision threats.

The single radar antenna can provide split-screen images on your chartplotter side by side, with independent range setting and controls for both close and long range. Using dual radar provides redundancy and allows each display unit on the boat to pull data from one of two different radar sources. This feature automatically adjusts to your surroundings for optimal performance in all conditions.

Gain automatically adjusts sea clutter for calm, medium and rough sea conditions. Overlay radar images onto your chartplotter’s map page. You can add an optional autopilot or heading sensor (sold separately) for best results.

New mini-automatic radar plotting aid (MARPA) automatic acquisition allows for triggering and tracking of up to 30 targets with no user prompting on all returns, boundary zones, guard zones or MotionScope technology. Set the safety zone and receive an alarm when an object enters the zone.

Variable range markers (VRM) and electronic bearing lines (EBL) allow rapid measurements of distance and bearing to vessels and land.Specifications General DIMENSION 20" x 9.8" (50.8 cm x 24.8 cm) WEIGHT 14.0 lbs WATERPROOF IPX7 ANTENNA LENGTH 17" (43.18 cm) ROTATION SPEED (RPM) Up to 60 rpm, depending on settings BEAM WIDTH 5.2° horizontal, 25° vertical 5.2° horizontal, 25° vertical 48 nm MINIMUM RANGE 6 meters RADAR TYPE Radome Electrical Features POWER INPUT 10-32 V DC POWER CONSUMPTION 4 W MAX POWER CONSUMPTION TRANSMITTING, POWER SAVE 24 W MAX POWER CONSUMPTION TRANSMITTING, NORMAL MODE 33 W TRANSITION POWER 50 W Radar Features DUAL RANGE SUPPORT Yes RADAR OVERLAY SUPPORT Yes DUAL RADAR Yes AUTOBIRD Yes DYNAMIC AUTO GAIN Dynamic MARPA TARGET TRACK Yes (Requires Heading Sensor, Sold Separately) ECHO TRAIL Yes MOTIONSCOPE Yes TARGET SIZE Yes SCAN Yes What's in the Box: GMR Fantom 18x - Black Power cable (15 m/49.21 ft) Network cable (15 m/49.21 ft) Installation instructions Mounting hardware kit and template Garmin GMR Fantom 18x Radar Black 50 Watt 18" Dome with 15m Cables 010-02584-10 Garmin
