Constructed from aircraft grade aluminum for durable, reliable support—even on non-plumb walls—this French cleat hanger is ideal for cabinets, headboards, heavy mirrors, shelves and ledges. Also referred to as French cleats, clips, hangers or wall cleats, the design focuses on long-term secure mounting. A single recommended pair safely supports 30" size items up to 180 lbs; install two screws (long ones) per cleat (we provide needed screws — not every hole). Holes are punched 1" apart and there are more screw holes than required, so you can add additional screws to increase holding capacity; you do not need to use every hole, but space screws evenly across the cleat. For greater stability use two pairs, placing one pair at the top and one pair at the bottom. A built-in insert aids alignment—remove it before locking a second cleat. In most installations the only tools required are a drill and a screwdriver. Includes screws and fasteners.
