The scanner does not support bidirectional control. Its DPF functions include regeneration, reset, DPD and DPR status control. A cylinder cut-off test commands the ECU to stop an injector so its effect on engine speed can be checked; the source also describes checking pulsation at the high-pressure pipe.

The tool can check and set engine and road speed limits while stationary, though few vehicles support adjustment and Cummins engines do not. Confirm vehicle VIN compatibility before purchase. It can remove air from the ABS module and diagnose systems including the engine, ABS, SRS, EPB, Park Brake Controller and DPF. OBD/EOBD/OBD2 modes include reading and erasing codes and viewing live data.

It supports heavy-duty and light trucks, pickups, buses, trailers, tractors, construction vehicles and agricultural vehicles. Supported protocols include J1587, J1939, J1708, J27145, ISO9141-2, ISO14230-2 and ISO15765-4. Allison transmissions are not currently supported; support is in development.
