Fortinet FortiSwitch 224E-POE — 28 Port Managed Gigabit PoE Rack-Mount SFP Switch

Fortinet FortiSwitch models cover deployments from small desktop setups to high-throughput aggregation nodes. Entry-level options provide 8-48 GE ports with PoE+ support for desktop to wiring-closet use, and offer either 2-4 GE SFP uplink ports or 4x 10GE SFP+ uplink ports. Mid-level switches target typical wiring-closet roles with 24-48 GE ports, PoE+ capability and 4 GE SFP uplink ports. Enterprise-class units include 24-48 GE and Multi-Gig port variants, available with PoE+ and UPOE, and can be equipped with 4x 10 GE SFP+ uplink ports for higher throughput. Aggregation platforms provide uplink density with 4x 10 GE SFP+ plus 2x 40 GE QSFP ports. Deployment and management options include FortiLink for integration and NGFW-extended security (the most common Fortinet deployment model), standalone GUI or CLI operation, and scale management via FortiSwitch Manager. Industry-standard deployments without Fortinet Security Fabric integration are also supported.
