The all-position nickel iron electrode repairs cast iron or welds cast iron to steel, producing dense, hard, crack-resistant welds. The welds are stronger than Super Ni Cast 99-Percent welds.

They are not easily machined and require carbide tools. Applications include grade 30, 40 and 50 gray cast irons, sewer pipe, machine bases, transmission and gear housings, and gear repair and buildup.
