PICASORT Dining & Entertaining Mat sku-18578673262

The PICASORT Gray food-warming mat is a 36" x 16" silicone mat listed under Dining & Entertaining. Its food-grade silicone is BPA-free; the brand says SGS testing found it compliant with US FDA standards and free of other toxic chemicals. The smooth surface can be wiped with a damp cloth.

Graphene heating is described as fast and even, with temperature variation within 3°C; the brand also describes it as stable, energy-saving and longer lasting than resistance-wire heating. The mat rolls up for storage and has room for food at family meals, buffets and parties.

Its 6-level control covers 122°F (about 50°C) to 212°F (about 100°C), and the timer can be set from 0 to 6 hours without supervision. NTC temperature control regulates the heat. An included insulating pad is intended to lower heat reaching the counter by 50% during extended use, reducing the risk of cracks on heat-sensitive surfaces such as marble, granite, quartz, thick glass and Corian.

The mat can also proof dough and thaw frozen food and is described for use at gatherings, including Ramadan and Shabbat meals. SKU: sku-18578673262.
