FLYGRUBS 10 lb Dried Larvae Pets Subscription sku-347946380

FLYGRUBS dried black soldier fly larvae are listed under Pets Subscription as size 10 lbs (Pack of 1), SKU sku-347946380 and UPC 665752704240. The title calls this a 10 lb, non-GMO, high-calcium feed for chickens, wild birds, ducks, turkeys, quails and turtles. The source says the larvae have 85x more calcium than mealworms, 36-42% protein and 25-30% fat.

They can be scattered on the ground to encourage natural feeding by chickens, ducks, bluebirds and other birds. The source says the nutrients support feathers, stronger eggshells, energy and egg production in hens. The dried larvae need no refrigeration and can be fed in any season or while traveling as an alternative to bird seed, live larvae or freeze-dried larvae.

The description also refers to a 5 lb box with a resealable bag that keeps the grubs fresh and whole, and calls them 5lb grubs; those amounts differ from the listed pack size.
