As part of the setup you should unplug the auto-dimming port to access the shared tandem power source as shown in the diagram; this action does not affect the auto-dimming sensor’s normal function. Video performance is UHD 4K thanks to the Novatek processor and an f/1.6 large-aperture lens, recording at HD 2160P/30fps for sharp, color-accurate playback both day and night. Continuous loop recording automatically overwrites the oldest files, while the built-in G-sensor detects impacts and locks the current clip so important footage is not erased. Note: parking mode requires an extra fuse cable. The camera includes built-in WiFi and the Fitcamx App for fast, high-definition wireless transfers. Use the app to view live footage on your phone, download clips, or transfer files to a PC; in-app settings let you enable or disable audio recording. Low-light performance is boosted by a high-sensitivity CMOS sensor plus WDR technology, which automatically adjusts exposure to preserve detail like license plates and road signs at night.
