Setup steps: connect the cameras and NVR to power, attach the included mouse to the NVR, hook a PC/TV monitor to the NVR via VGA or HDMI cable, and link your router LAN port to the NVR WAN port using the provided network cable. The system uses professional WiFi signal transmission with Auto Code Rate adjustment to deliver stable video streams. Remote access and alerts: FIRSTREND supports remote viewing and playback on Android, iOS, tablet and PC via the downloadable app (ensure the NVR is Ethernet-connected to your router). Features include sync-playback, video backup and motion detection. When motion is triggered the system can send App alerts or email notifications — please configure alerts appropriately to avoid repeated emails.
