Firestik MURSBASE MURS Base Station Antenna 153.210 MHz, 46" Height

The Firestik MURSBASE is a dedicated base station antenna built for MURS (Multi Use Radio Service), the FCC-authorized "no license" VHF Citizen Band Radio service. This high-performance 2-Meter, 5/8 wave design centers on 153.210 MHz and is well suited for amateur radio operators. Construction features a 3/8" (9.5mm) solid fiberglass core tightly wound with 19ga heavy insulated copper wire. The radiating element measures approximately 45" long (114cm) and is protected by white, UV-stabilized PVC shrink tubing. Physical dimensions: approximate overall height 46" with a radial diameter of 44". The antenna mounts using common 3/8"-24 base threads and a standard SO239 base compatible with UHF (PL259) connectors. All necessary mounting and assembly hardware are included.
