lshhh pool filter glass comes in a 40 Lbs bag and is listed under All Fish Tanks and Supplies, size 40 lbs, SKU sku-17194712957. Made from 100% recycled glass, it offers an alternative to sand filter media that reduces landfill waste. The stated lifespan is 3 times that of traditional sand media, with fewer replacements and lower long-term maintenance costs while maintaining consistent performance. It also needs less frequent backwashing, reducing water use and chemical loss and lowering operating costs. Use 20% less glass media by weight than sand.

It is compatible with most standard pool filters and can be installed with or without a pea gravel base; consult the filter manufacturer's installation recommendations. For replacing sand, the conversion guide is: 100 lbs sand = 80 lbs glass; 150 lbs sand = 120 lbs glass; 200 lbs sand = 160 lbs glass; 250 lbs sand = 200 lbs glass; 300 lbs sand = 240 lbs glass.
