Its audio section pairs two ES9068AS DAC chips (now out-of-production) to produce a natural, warm presentation that highlights musical detail. For amplification the player employs fully balanced THX AAA-78*2 amps from the THX AAA Frontier series to faithfully restore timbral nuance and position instruments across a realistic soundstage. This model runs the first iteration of FiiO’s Android 10 build, adding features like dark mode, night mode, and three navigation styles to customize playback and system interaction. Audiophile codecs are supported as well: the unit handles MQA decoding in 8x mode for high-sample-rate, master-quality playback, and includes All to DSD in its 3rd generation — offering 30% lower power consumption versus the previous generation, reduced unwanted harmonics, and a softer, purer tonal character.
