Its SUS317 stainless steel blade-holder head resists heat, chemicals and impurities; pinching the head releases the blade for replacement. The rounded head disperses pressure at the blade for a softer shave.
Its synthetic-resin handle resists heat, and the razor can be sanitized in an autoclave or with disinfectant. The head can be dismantled for cleaning.
