Farberware 5217309 Red 0.8 qt Cutlery sku-359467652

Farberware 5217309 is a Red Edgekeeper 15-piece Delrin cutlery set, listed as 0.8 qt and Unisex under Shop Kitchen & Dining. SKU sku-359467652; UPC 045908107499. Its high-carbon stainless steel blades have fine edges and handles designed for balance and control. The set has a limited lifetime warranty.

To use the built-in EdgeKeeper sharpener, place a blade's heel in the slot and draw it through to the tip with moderate pressure, repeating as needed. The sharpener is angled for non-Japanese fine-edge blades; do not use it on serrated bread or steak knives. Farberware also makes 3- and 6-piece sets and other cutlery sets with blade shapes for slicing, chopping, paring and preparing meat or bread.

Some sets include sharpeners, cutting boards or shears. Its cutlery range includes stainless steel, high-carbon steel, resin and ceramic blades. Resin coatings reduce sticking; ceramic blades are made of zirconium, described as 10 times harder than steel. Stainless steel, high-carbon steel and resin products require hand washing with mild detergent, followed by rinsing and immediate drying.

Ceramic products can go on the dishwasher's top rack. Wipe knife blocks with a dry cloth.
