Amy Stambach Faith in Schools Hardcover sku-11058094

Faith in Schools by Amy Stambach (sku-11058094) is a hardcover Religion & Religious Studies Books title about American Evangelical involvement in East African education and public life. Drawing on American and East African perspectives, it considers how Christians who share a faith can differ over missionary work.

Evangelicals describe their work as spreading Christianity, while critics see harm to traditional culture. The account follows connections between Christian college campuses in the U.S., where missionaries train, and schools in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, including the lives of school children.
