Facon CW-T1218 Black 12" x 18" tank pad sku-306519594

Facon CW-T1218 Black 12" x 18" tank heater pad, sku-306519594, UPC 791259660151, is an RV Waste Water and Sanitation product sold in a pack of 2. Designed to help prevent freezing in RV holding tanks, pipes and steps, it helps keep water available in winter for RVs, campers, trailers, mobile homes and boats.

The pad works with fresh, grey or black water holding tanks up to 50 gallons; use 2-3 pads for a larger tank. Connect its 2 wires to a 12V DC power supply and an RV power switch: red is positive and white is negative. It has no plug. The built-in thermostat switches the pad on at 45°F (+/- 5 degrees) and off at 68°F (+/- 5 degrees).

Turn the power switch on when the outside temperature is near freezing, and off when temperatures remain above freezing, the tank has been emptied or the RV is not in use. A self-adhesive 3mm foam insulation layer supports fixed-place installation without additional equipment. Facon states that it owns a patent and certificate for the product and that Genesis Lighting is its only manufacturer.

The pad has passed US Standard QAI Quality Certification and carries a one-year warranty.
