Built-in intelligent power control prevents overload: if total draw goes beyond 60W the switch will shut down PoE ports according to priority (4–1). The unit auto-detects PoE devices and supplies power only to them while still forwarding data to non-PoE equipment. Any port that experiences a short circuit is independently disabled to protect the rest of the network. One-touch mode selection gives you Standard, VLAN and Extend options. VLAN mode isolates ports 1-4 to improve device management and reduce broadcast storms. Extend mode increases PoE reach up to 820FT, making the switch suitable for distant security cameras and extended network runs.
