The included chin strap secures the helmet during a fall or sudden movement and meets ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (R2019) Type 2 and EN12492 design, strength and effectiveness requirements. It fits hat sizes 6.5-8, or head circumferences of 21-25 inches (53cm-63.5cm).
Testing also covers EN12492:2012 sections 4.2.1.2, 4.2.1.3, 4.2.1.4, 4.2.2, 4.2.3 and 4.2.4, plus EN397:2012+A1:2012 sections 5.2.1, 5.2.4 and 5.2.5. Adjustable vents and an open frame allow airflow around the 6-point suspension. An EPS foam ring provides impact protection inside the shell. The removable sweatband and top pad are breathable, sweat-wicking, odor-resistant and machine washable.
