EASY TO USE: The Joist Holders are excellent when used to secure 4x4 posts to joists in crawl spaces underneath houses. Simply use 1" screws to secure the joist holder to the joist and post. Commonly used with the Ellis Screw Jacks. SAFE & SECURE: Designed with efficiency in mind, these joist holders have a square tube on the bottom of them to allow 4x4 or 6x6 shore lumbers to fit securely. The "U" shaped bracket on top fits any 2 x joist or beam to create extra lateral support.
