When not used as an analyzer, it can produce square-wave or dual-tone output up to 5.3GHz. Its band-pass filter has switchable resolution from 200Hz to 850kHz across two ranges. A USB connection allows PC control as an analyzer or signal generator.
A built-in calibration generator supports automatic self-test and low-input calibration. The input attenuator steps from 0dB to 31dB and is not used with the LNA; a 20dB LNA is optional.
