The line is woven from HDPE fibers and incorporates 6 strands of stainless steel wire for excellent rust and UV resistance, extending service life and cutting down on replacement and maintenance needs. With a 1/8 inch diameter and rated to withstand up to 150 lbs of tension, this strong, flexible rope is well suited for horse and cattle containment, wildlife deterrence, rotational grazing and other temporary fencing setups. The wire transmits a short, safe electric pulse on contact to form an effective psychological barrier that discourages animals from testing or breaching the fence, helping prevent escapes and keep stock protected. Kit includes a 1640ft/500m length of polywire, 50 insulators (25 screw-in ring and 25 T-post), plus 1 ABS plastic reel to make winding and unwinding easier; a drill is required to fit the screw-in insulators (drill not included).
