Add jewelry, steel pins, water and a special polishing compound to the bowl, then press "on". Polishing takes 30 minutes and is designed to reach complex details, tiny cracks and uneven surfaces.
The automatic process is described as almost eliminating cyanide bombing and the associated stripping and pulsating steps. The tumbler is also described for use with stones such as cubic zirconia (CZ), ruby, sapphire and diamond.
