SIZE â We carry many sizes of elastic trim, from 1/8â to 1â wide. They are available in both black and white. The length of the spool is variable and depends on the width that is ordered. MATERIAL - Our Elastic Trim is made from both polyester fibers and rubber (70% Nylon, 30% Spandex). This combination of materials creates a strong yet very stretchy and pliable elastic that has great tensile strength and elogational proportions. The materials have been knitted together to create a resilient material that will stand up to wear and tear and multiple washes in the machine. QUALITY â Our elastic trim features hypoallergenic polyester material that has been knitted around a solid rubber core. This arrangement gives the elastic several qualities. It is very durable, even with a lot of wear and tear. It is machine washable. Both the polyester and the rubber contribute to its stiffness and stretchiness factors. The polyester is mostly rigid, with a little bit of stretch, which gives some structure to the rubber when it is pulled and stretched out.
