DuraVent 8DP-VC Silver 8" Heating Cap sku-25481172
No rating yet(0 ratings)The DuraVent DuraPlus 8 Inch round chimney cap (8" diameter), model 8DP-VC, is a Silver Heating product (sku-25481172; UPC 662492009222). Its corrosion-resistant stainless steel and triple-wall design help keep the exterior cool, maintain the draft, limit rain entry and protect against sparks.
A ceramic blanket and air space form two insulating layers; the compressible blanket reduces hot spots and allows the liner to expand during a creosote fire. It is designed for continuous operation at 1000 degrees Fahrenheit flue gas temperature and meets UL HT requirements. The cap includes a spark arrestor screen and removable screws for cleaning.
It is suitable for wood-, oil-, coal- or gas-fueled appliances. Dimensions are 15 x 15 x 8 inches, weight is 5 pounds, and the manufacturer provides a limited-lifetime warranty.
