DuraVent 3PVP-24 Heating Pipe Multicolor sku-33152398

DuraVent 3PVP-24 is a Multicolor, Unisex Heating pipe (sku-33152398) in the PelletVent Pro line. This 24'' straight galvalume pipe vents stoves and inserts that use wood pellets or oil. It is also built to vent corn, switch grass, cherry pits, soybeans, coffee husk, sunflower hulls, walnut shells and wheat.

The fully unitized, twist-lock pipe has a 3" diameter and can be installed vertically or horizontally. It has a laser-welded, double-wall construction with a 304 stainless steel inner wall and a .018" galvalume outer wall, both with welded seams. The materials description also specifies a super-ferritic stainless steel inner wall. The pipe is laser-welded rather than spot or pop welded.

Its metal-to-metal connection provides the primary joint seal, and an encapsulated o-ring provides a secondary seal. Perfect Fit construction makes twist-lock connections easier and is designed to prevent leaks without gaskets or sealants. The pipe is listed to UL 441 and marketed exclusively to the specialty hearth market.

Many parts are available in a heat-resistant matte black finish, and a painted black exterior is available. PelletVent Pro pipe is not interchangeable with Simpson Dura-Vent Standard Pellet or Corn Vent. The pipe diameter is the stated diameter plus 5/8"; deduct 1 1/2" for installed length. Allow 1" clearance to combustibles for appliances using corn and other biofuels, wood pellets or oil.

The source also lists SKU TWST8488.
