Open the engine cover and hang the EVAP smoke leak machine detector on it. Disconnect all pipes that needs to be connected with the smoke machine. 2. Secure this side with proper taper stopple/pipe and connect it with smoke output tube. If the pipe needs to be disconnected in the middle. Please secure the other side with a rubber stopple. 3. Red with positive and black with negative to connect the EVAP smoke machine with DC 12V battery. Turn on the power switch and the EVAP smoke machine starts to work. 4. Adjust the flow gauge, control the input smoke value and pressure to make sure the pipe system can afford the pressure. Generate smoke soon and the pipe will be filled with smoke in about 3 minutes. 5. Observe the floating ball in flow gauge. If the floating ball stays still in the bottom, so the pipe is sealed. If the floating ball is arising or bouncing, so leakage exists. If the bounce arises highly, means the leakage is serious. 6. If necessary, better use head lamp while checking the leak points. After leak detection, please connect the wires and pipe well. Tips: For reference only, the specific steps can be adjusted according to personal preference. Warm Notes: 1. In first time use, please fill with 10ml test liquid into the car smoke leak detector. Both liquid paraffin and baby oil are OK, but please NOT to beyond this range of 10ml. 2. Before filling fresh oil, please pour out the oil left in the detector. The fresh oil can be filled with only when the smoke gets thin, can't be filled over 20ml each time. 3. During the process of leak detection, must keep away from smoke-sensitive parts. Please be careful with the round part of the leak detector with high temperature to avoid burns hurt. 4. Do NOT use the leak detector over 8 minutes continuously. Once the high temperature protection mechanism triggered, please make it interval rest and operate later.
