The Blue DUOYI MMT274#N11 automotive smoke leak detector, sku-18397967304, has a built-in air pump, pressure gauge, adjustable air flowmeter and separate smoke and air modes. It connects to a 12V DC battery and can produce smoke within 30s of power-on. Included EVAP adapters support testing vehicle EVAP systems, and the smoke outlet pipe is 4ft long. The 1-6 setting adjusts smoke concentration. The unit shuts off automatically above 75°C. To use it: 1. Hang the detector under the open engine cover and disconnect the pipes to be tested. 2. Seal the pipe as needed and attach the smoke output tube, sealing the other end if the pipe was disconnected in the middle. 3. Connect red to the positive and black to the negative terminal of the DC 12V battery, then switch on the unit. 4. Adjust the flow gauge to a pressure the pipe can tolerate; the pipe should fill with smoke in about 3 minutes. 5. Watch the flow-gauge ball: still at the bottom indicates a sealed pipe, while movement indicates a leak, with higher bouncing indicating a more serious leak. 6. Use a headlamp if needed, then reconnect the wires and pipes after testing. These steps can be adjusted to suit the test. On first use, add 10ml of liquid paraffin or baby oil and do not exceed 10ml. Empty remaining oil before adding fresh oil when smoke becomes thin; add no more than 20ml at a time. Keep smoke away from smoke-sensitive parts, avoid touching the hot round part of the detector, and do not run it continuously for over 8 minutes.
