Each has a 1-3/8 x 7/8 in. notched bar with 1/8" thick walls, a spring-clutch movable head and a fixed head with a 1/2" acme-threaded screw and wing knob. The bar is heat-treated extruded aluminum, the movable parts are heat-treated cast 683 aluminum, and the screw is steel.
The design allows single-handed adjustment and stays straight under force so a workpiece can be clamped against it. Wood glue does not react with or adhere to the aluminum, helping prevent stains and making cleanup easier. Made in the USA. SKU sku-927712668; UPC 729798863634.
