Powered by the 82575EB chipset, this dual-port adapter provides two 10/100/1000Mbps copper RJ45 connections for reliable Gigabit performance. The card installs in a PCI-E x1 slot and is fully compatible with PCI-E x4, x8 and x16 slots. Included are both a thin bracket and a full height bracket to suit low-profile or standard chassis. The PCB layout uses paired, parallel, equal-length differential lines to help lower packet loss; a reduced loop area between signal traces and ground also decreases the chance of crosstalk between signals.
